Tops is a combed ribbon made
In order for wool to become yarn, it undergoes multi-stage processing:
Wool is hand-picked and sorted by grade.
This stage involves: procurers, movers, layers, sorters, pressmen.
Preparatory stage for washing.
Equipment operators work.
At this stage, the wool is heat treated, dirt and grease are removed. Wool is washed and dried.
Washers, pressmen, loaders are working.
Wool is dedusted and deflated on special machines.
Equipment operators work.
On special combing machines, the wool is combed and rolled into bobbins. Additional cleaning from coarse fibers occurs.

At this stage, the wool is combed on combing machines. Short and coarse fibers are additionally combed out. Then the combed tape is wound on special cones for dyeing.

The tops, wound on cones, are placed in the dyeing equipment. The second heat treatment of the wool takes place. Then it goes to the drying equipment.

The colored tops are scratched again, passed through the draw frames, wound into bobbins and packed.

The fineness of the fiber is 23-25 μm.
Used for wet and dry felting. It is good to create things with texture from such wool: clothes, shoes, handbags. It retains its shape well. The knitted merino wool is stable, forms a dense fabric.
It is well suited for dry felting. From this wool, you can create voluminous toys or fill a pattern on felt with a needle. A palette of 20 colors of this wool allows you to embody any author’s ideas in felt.
This thick yarn can be used to knit a beautiful blanket that will decorate your interior and warm you on cool days.
